He passed BDS from A.B.Shetty Dental College, Mangalore, and obtained MDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. He worked as a senior house surgeon in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery under Dr. Varghese Mani in Trichur Medical College. He has done research work in Neutrophil Enzymes while in A.B.Shetty College.

• 20 yrs experience in the management of tertiary level Craniomaxillofacial trauma.
• Chaired ten national conferences.
• Numerous paper presentations to credit.
• Fellow of International College of Dentists.
• Under his able leadership, the department has completed more than 3000 Craniomaxillofacial surgeries.
