Dr. Abishek Rajan

Dr Abishek completed his MBBS from Govt Medical College, Calicut in 2008. He did his Mastere in Gerenal Surgery (MS) from Govt Medical College Kottayam (2009-2012). He later Cleared DNB General Surgery undere NBE New Delhi in 2013 and later finished Part A of MRCS in 2013. He completed his MCh ( Surgical gastroenterology and liver transplantation) from Prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post graduate institute of medical sciences Luknow (2014-2017). He has done observership in Liver transplant at the Institute of liver and biliary sciences, New Delhi in 2016. He did a course in Bariatric surgery at Max hospital, New Delhi in 2019. He completed his training in Robotic surgery in 2019. For 7 years, he has been working in surgical gastroenterology with vast experience in performing gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatic biliary surgeries at the best gastroenterology hospital in Calicut – Aster MIMS. His area of interest are, Gastrointestinal Oncology, Bariatric surgery and Transplant surgery.

He was the best outgoing student in MBBS ( Including two Gold Medals), Best student in MS (Gen Surgery) North zone ( India), Young Scholar award winner in Surgical gastroerology (2017).
He has various national level publications and research work.
