Dr. Asish Kumar M, an alumnus of Calicut Medical College, is a highly experienced and accomplished interventional cardiologist with over two decades of expertise in advanced cardiac care. After completing his DM in Cardiology from CMC, Vellore, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Cardiology at CMCH, Vellore, and later played a pivotal role in establishing the Department of Cardiology at MIMS, Kozhikode.

MIMS became the first NABH-accredited hospital in India, offering state-of-the-art multispecialty care under his leadership. Dr. Asish has independently performed complex coronary and non-coronary cardiac interventions for over 15 years, including advanced procedures such as Rotablation, IVUS, pacemaker implantation, CRT, and AICD. He also specializes in pediatric cardiac interventions and complex peripheral and endovascular treatments.
